Some of our best memories growing up were fishing trips up north with family. The smell of the morning lake, fog lifting, the quiet of the trees, the feeling of being completely away from it all — those moments never left us.
When we started our own family, one dream was clear — give our kids that same feeling. So we found Diamond Lakehouse on the crystal clear waters of Diamond Lake in Hastings Highlands. It needed a lot of love — new floors, new furnace, redesigned spaces — but we poured everything into it. And something unexpected happened. Families, friend groups, girls weekends, multigenerational gatherings — everyone who stayed fell in love with it the same way we did.
That's when it clicked — this could be more than just our escape. We could share these experiences with everyone while still enjoying them ourselves. So Pinery Retreat in Grand Bend came next.— another property that needed love, that we redesigned from the ground up — new pretty much everything 🙂 , completely reimagined spaces — until it became the perfect cottage for groups of up to 14.

Me and my group had an excellent time! We enjoyed the gorgeous lake view and fall scenery. It’s a wonderful spot and would highly recommend it for any future guest! We were able to get some time out on the water and later cozy up by the fire, we even drove the hour to Algonquin national park and got to enjoy those views. The cabin it’s self was clean and easily accessible and Kara and Mika were friendly and accommodating to any personal issues we had during our stay 🙂
